Just after sunrise one morning, our guide Steven from Kamala-Kuria Hills camp spotted this leopard about 50 meters away resting on a downed tree (that image also in this collection). For the next 2-3 hours, Karen and I and Steven quietly tracked her from the safari vehicle. In a moment, the leopard darted from our sight. The next time we saw her emerge from the rocks is depicted in these several images. The leopard enjoyed his breakfast high up in the rocks, out of our sight. When she emerged again, we were able to get some incredible portrait shots, also included here.
