Even if you’ve only seen them at the zoo, everyone knows that elephants love water. This female and young were part of a larger group taken a dip in what was left of a mudhole in early Spring before the rains returned. You can see exactly where the water line was on the female….conveniently enough for the young one to be fully immersed!
