Najac, France, 12x18” dry-mounted Paper print
Najac, France, 12x18” dry-mounted Paper print
“Najac France” is available from stock as a 12x18” dry-mounted paper print.
Najac is an off-the-beaten-path village that is distinguished by its listing as “One of France’s Most Beautiful Villages” the same as 3 others in my current portfolio. It is a commune in the Aveyron department in southern France. The village is set along a ridge above a bend in the Aveyron River. In the earlier part of the last century, the village had around 2000 people but it suffered a marked decline as workers migrated to towns and cities. In Najac, it’s not just the castle that dates back to medieval times. The village itself contains old houses and many religious buildings. If you step back to observe the town as a whole, you’ll notice that the village looks like a long street with the castle at its end. Built on a sharp ridge, Najac and its château watch over the meandering Aveyron River below.
Also available is the dry-mounted paper print in a simple black metal frame, ready to be hung. Please see this fomat pictured on the “French Purple Garlic” page. This option is available in 12x18” size for an additonal $40.
All prints are available in ready-to-hang, gallery-wrapped CANVAS or METAL (aluminum).
Except for the PANORAMIC (long & narrow) images, most all other prints are in a standard 2:3 aspect ratio (same as out-of-the-camera, uncropped), vertical or horizontal orientation, like 16 x 24”.
