The dryness of the bush made sitings such as this much easier than when the rains come, and the vegetation leaves out. This grand lion was happy to keep on napping the morning that we came upon him, but other images will show that he did manage to raise his head ever so often. When your at the top of the food chain, there’s no need to be hidden in the bush or stay alert for possible predators.
